Oil mist develop during production processes that use oils that, when grouped together, create greasy and polluting vapors. Lubricants are pollutants often ignored and underestimated despite their danger to health.
They are used to lubricate cutting tools and aim to cool and rinse the chips produced during processing, reducing friction and wear. Usually, the oils are of mineral, vegetable, or synthetic origin, sometimes mixed with water.
