Dust treatment in adhesive tape production
The company, which is specialized in the production of adhesive tapes, was facing a problem related to paper dust generated during the cutting of paper cores and their loading into the production line. Although it already had a filter installed on each machine, these were not ATEX certified. The company's goal was to centralize the system, including the cutting machines in the new centralized system, to improve efficiency and dust management.

HFiltration has installed the HJL-CART-S-12V- ATEX filtration system. This solution includes a motor with a soundproof enclosure, an electrical panel with 55 kW inverter, HF monitoring, and a pressure transducer for automatic flow management. The filter is installed outdoors with piping of about 200 meters, pneumatic bypass dampers on each machine and ATEX 22 check valve. In addition, to further reduce noise, the filter has been equipped with a special soundproof box that encloses the pneumatic valves for the cartridge cleaning process.
