AirTREAT Tower - Oil Mist is the HF solution designed to improve air quality in industrial production areas where oil mist and aerosols are generated by machining processes.
The system treats large volumes of air directly within the facility, helping to reduce the concentration of suspended oil particles that can spread beyond the machine tool and settle on surfaces, equipment and components within the production area.
The oil mist configuration uses a multilayer glass-fibre filtration stage specifically designed for liquid aerosols, distinguishing it from the AirTREAT Tower configuration developed for dust and dry fumes.
AirTREAT Tower is designed as a system consisting of three integrated main modules.
Air containing oil mist and oily aerosols is drawn in through the capture points integrated into the tower structure and directed towards the dedicated filtration section.
The first stage uses multilayer glass-fibre filter elements, specifically configured to capture liquid aerosols present in the airflow.
The separated contaminant is collected in the lower section of the system in a dedicated collection container. The configuration is suitable for both neat oil applications and processes using emulsions.
The integrated fan unit moves large volumes of air, promoting continuous air recirculation throughout the production environment.
The treated air is reintroduced into the production area through the upper air diffusion system, promoting controlled recirculation. As an additional benefit, the resulting airflow can also contribute to more uniform air conditions at different heights within the industrial hall.
The primary stage is specifically designed for the treatment of oil aerosols and uses multilayer glass-fibre filter elements. This configuration allows the system to treat oil mist generated by machining processes using both neat oil and emulsions, adapting to the requirements of different mechanical processes.
The final stage consists of a HEPA H13 absolute filter, included as standard in the AirTREAT Tower oil mist configuration. Combined with the primary filtration stage, the system can achieve an overall efficiency of up to 99.99%.
In machining workshops and production areas with multiple machine tools, oil mist generated by machining processes can spread beyond the emission point and remain suspended in the air.
AirTREAT Tower treats the air throughout the entire production area and is designed for applications where diffuse oil aerosols need to be reduced without installing a complex dedicated ductwork system.
The system integrates capture, filtration, ventilation and air diffusion in a single stand-alone unit. Automatic airflow management allows the system to adapt its operation to the conditions within the production environment, limiting operation at maximum power to periods when it is actually required and reducing the need for continuous manual adjustments.
Airflow: Up to 12.000 m³/h. For diffuse oil mist generated by machining processes.
Airflow: Up to 24.000 m³/h. For applications requiring higher airflow rates.
