In this case study, we present the solution implemented for a company operating in the cosmetic industry, characterized by production processes involving the use of solvents and volatile raw materials. The objective of the project was to reduce high concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), specifically Isododecane, ensuring full compliance with emission limits set by current environmental regulations and the applicable Regional BAT guidelines.

We designed and supplied a two-stage abatement system consisting of a condensation unit followed by an activated carbon adsorption system with external regeneration. The condensation phase, carried out through a condenser powered by a dedicated chiller unit, cools the gas stream and converts Isododecane into liquid phase, significantly reducing the incoming VOC load. The final activated carbon treatment ensures adsorption of residual compounds and full compliance with emission limits.
