The following case study is about a multinational company, based in Poznan (Poland), a world leader in electronic chemicals and functional materials, focuses on production and sales of lithium-ion battery blends, capacitors, semiconductors and organic fluorine solvents.
Problems
- The electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries are composed of solvent, lithium salt solute and additives and are not all soluble in water.
- The emissions were in line with Chinese legislation but not with European one.

- An activated carbon filter with a capacity of 13.500 m3/h
- A remote monitoring system, HFMonitoring.
