Dust treatment in mold production and metal stamping
HF Group carried out an intervention at a leading Italian company specialized in the production of molds and metal sheet stamping, organized into four production departments: tooling, lamination, fine blanking, and conventional stamping. The company turned to us to address a critical issue: a high level of dust in the working environment, caused by an outdated extraction system installed in 2006. The need was twofold: to ensure a healthier environment for operators and to restore the system’s efficiency through deep cleaning and extraordinary maintenance. Thanks to our expertise, we delivered a comprehensive solution aimed at improving operational conditions and ensuring production continuity.
Problems
- Bag filter, installed in 2006
- N°56 clogged filter bags need to be replaced.
- Bag support cages are visibly very worn.
- Connecting duct is damaged and patched with adhesive tape.
HF's intervention made it possible to identify the need for a thorough inspection of the cleaning system’s solenoid valves and maintenance of the fan. We then carried out a complete maintenance operation using the HF Service package, which included the replacement of all filter bags and bag cages.In addition, a preventive maintenance plan was launched to ensure greater efficiency and long-term operational continuity.
