Oil mist treatment in CNC machining

In this case study, we present the solution implemented for a Polish company specialized in CNC machining services, including turning and milling, with a large and highly automated machine park. The high number of machine tools and the expansion of the production areas required an upgrade of the air extraction and filtration system to ensure proper environmental conditions.

  • N° 2 Mist Compact MC12 TV units – 9,000 m³/h each
  • N° 2 Mist Compact MC04 TV units – 3,000 m³/h each
  • Outdoor installation with chimney
  • Manual summer/winter bypass system
Solutions

HFiltration replaced the existing filtration system with new high-efficiency units from the Mist Compact range, designed for the capture of oil mists generated by CNC machining processes. The system was configured with three units installed outdoors and one indoors, including a manual summer/winter bypass system for heat recovery, optimizing overall performance and energy efficiency.
